Heidi Sparkes Guber and Alain Gauthier from SoL America will be coming to Tokyo Sunday, July 20, 2008, for a Consulting Convergence on Cross-Cultural Training, after they lead the GET Leadership training at Nissan.  This is a get together where we bring and exchange ideas, based on the
assumption that our ideas will be properly cited and credited, advancing all involved.

We welcome your input on exercises and simulations you would like to share or introduce.

  July 20 Workshop Description:
As more and more firms undergo mergers and acquisitions in Japan, these firms are faced with the need to address various cultures operating at once, both national cultural differences and organizational cultural differences.  One of the greatest challenges for any manager is how to address these
varying cultures and their underlying assumptions.

  Participants will be provided with:
l        Tools for helping organizations explore cultural differences
  l        Research on Culture
l        A great opportunity to network with new people and find out what ideas are out there!
